Yes. Every tool on this page is free and runs in your browser: the vocabulary size test, the forgetting curve simulator, the study planner, the crossword generator and the synonym quiz. There is no trial period and no card required.
No. All the tools work without signing up. A free account only adds the parts that have to remember you: your own decks, your review schedule and your progress across devices.
Start with the vocabulary size test to see roughly how many words you already know and which CEFR level that puts you at. Then use the study planner to turn that number into a realistic date, and the forgetting curve simulator to see why review timing decides whether the plan holds.
It samples words at random from CEFR-leveled decks and estimates the share of each level you recognize, so it gives you a solid ballpark rather than an exam score. Taking it more than once, with a different sample each time, narrows the range.
The decks behind the tools cover 12 languages, among them Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch and English. The interface itself is available in English, Spanish, German, French and Polish.
FSRS is the spaced repetition algorithm that schedules reviews on Words on Repeat and in recent versions of Anki. It models how quickly a memory decays and brings each word back just before you would forget it, which is exactly what the forgetting curve simulator lets you watch.
