"Adorar" (to love doing) + infinitive; no preposition needed.
o turista	the tourist	Os turistas visitam o Cristo Redentor. The tourists visit Christ the Redeemer.
Definite article "os" (masc. pl.); Portuguese uses articles broadly.
o turismo	the tourism	O turismo é importante para a economia. Tourism is important for the economy.
"Para" = for/to; indicates purpose, recipient, or destination.
o passaporte	the passport	Eu preciso renovar o meu passaporte. I need to renew my passport.
"Precisar + infinitive" = to need to do something.
o visto	the visa	Você precisa de visto para entrar no país. You need a visa to enter the country.
"Precisar de" (to need) requires the preposition "de".

"Ficar" = to be located/to stay; common for giving locations.

"Ir + infinitive" = near future (going to do something).

"Ter" (tenho = I have): irregular verb for possession.
o atraso	the delay	O voo tem um atraso de duas horas. The flight has a two-hour delay.
"Ter" (tem) for possession; also means "there is/are" informally.
atrasar	to delay / to be late	O avião atrasou por causa da chuva. The plane was delayed because of the rain.
