first Number one. Before all the others.	primero	This is my first day at the new job. Es mi primer día en el trabajo nuevo.
Ordinales: first (1st), second (2nd), third (3rd). 'At the new job' con 'at' para el lugar de trabajo.

'Interesting' describe la cosa; 'interested' describe a la persona ('I am interested' = me interesa).
boring Not interesting.	aburrido	The film was long and boring. La película fue larga y aburrida.
'Was' es el pasado de 'is'. 'Boring' = que aburre; 'bored' = que está aburrido ('I am bored').
angry You feel this when something is very bad or not fair.	enfadado	The teacher is angry because we are late. El profesor está enfadado porque llegamos tarde.
'Angry with someone' (enfadado con alguien), 'angry about something'. 'We are late' = llegamos tarde.

'To be afraid of' = tener miedo a: inglés usa 'ser/estar' + afraid, no 'tener'. Siempre con 'of'.

'Sweet' también se usa para personas: 'She is very sweet' = es muy amable/tierna.
kind (adjective) Good and friendly to other people. Sinónimos: friendly	amable	The doctor is very kind to the children. La doctora es muy amable con los niños.
'Kind to someone' — con 'to' antes de la persona ('amable CON' = 'kind TO').
terrible Very, very bad. Sinónimos: awful	terrible / fatal	The weather is terrible today. El tiempo está fatal hoy.
'The weather is terrible' — para el clima se usa 'the weather is' + adjetivo. 'Terrible' = muy malo.
often Many times. Sinónimos: frequently	a menudo	We often eat fish for dinner. A menudo cenamos pescado.
Adverbio de frecuencia entre sujeto y verbo: 'We often eat'. 'For dinner' = de cena / para cenar.
usually Almost always. Most days. Sinónimos: normally	normalmente	I usually walk to work. Normalmente voy al trabajo andando.
'Walk to work' = ir andando al trabajo: el verbo inglés incluye el modo. 'Usually' entre sujeto y verbo.
slowly Not fast.	despacio	Can you speak more slowly, please? ¿Puede hablar más despacio, por favor?
