Phrasal verb separable: 'note down the date' o 'note the date down'. 'So I wouldn't forget' expresa finalidad en pasado; el español usa subjuntivo ('para que no se me olvidara').
to look through To read or examine something quickly, often to check it.	revisar, hojear	She looked through her notes again before the interview. Revisó sus apuntes otra vez antes de la entrevista.

'From... to...' para un periodo: 'from two to four'. 'Free' aquí significa 'libre/disponible', no 'gratis'.

Phrasal verb separable: 'write down the words' o 'write the words down'. 'So (that) you don't forget' expresa finalidad; el español usa subjuntivo.
to underline To draw a line under a word or sentence.	subrayar	Underline the verbs in the text before you translate it. Subraya los verbos del texto antes de traducirlo.
Imperativo para instrucciones. 'Before + sujeto + verbo' también es posible ('before you translate'), además de 'before + -ing'.

Superlativo: 'the most important ideas'. 'In yellow' = de color amarillo; se usa 'in' con los colores.

'As they are written' usa pasiva ('are written') donde el español usa 'se escriben'. 'Spelling' es incontable.

Los adjetivos no tienen plural en inglés: 'bilingual' no cambia. 'At home' = en casa, sin artículo.

'Do an apprenticeship' es la colocación habitual. 'With + persona/empresa' indica con quién aprendes el oficio.

'Reply TO something' lleva 'to'. Present perfect con 'still... not' para algo que se esperaba y aún no ha ocurrido.
to forward To send a message you received to another person.	reenviar	Can you forward me the message from the head office? ¿Me puedes reenviar el mensaje de la oficina central?
Doble objeto: 'forward me the message' = reenviarme el mensaje. 'Can you...?' para peticiones informales.

'Inform + persona' sin preposición ('inform the office'), a diferencia del español 'informar A'. Condicional tipo cero con 'if' + presente.

Present perfect 'I've arranged' porque el resultado (la reunión) sigue vigente. 'Arrange something FOR + día'.

'Enough' va delante del sustantivo ('enough experience') pero detrás del adjetivo ('good enough').

'Nobody' + verbo en singular afirmativo: 'nobody wears', sin doble negación ('nobody doesn't wear' es incorrecto).
